While Dr. Martin Heisbock acts as the full-time head of research at Uphold, he remains an active participant in AlpineBlock’s research and strategy work. He founded AlpineBlock in 2018 to foster blockchain technology enterprise adoption.
Chief Executive Officer
As a CPA turned strategy & technology consultant, Greg spent the first 10 years of his career advising “Web2” companies on ways to improve their organizations by increasing financial transparency, streamlining processes, and utilizing the latest in tech to stay ahead of competitors. When learning about blockchain, Greg immediately recognized the technologies potential for exactly those same things. At Alpine, Greg helps coordinate the efforts of our research team members into reports consistent with that of the quality of the large consulting firms, as well as helping drive conversations with business and technology leaders on how to implement the technology within their organization.
Head of Development
Artur is mainly interested in the technical aspects when it comes to blockchain. He has an eye for details when it comes to feasibility studies and knows the technical restrictions and possibilities. He comes from the life science consulting industry and has worked for almost all of the top 10 pharma during his career. for him, "the state of the art" is just a starting point on which to develop.

Tom has 20 years of experience in digital and technology, although it doesn't look like it - according to Tom anyway - he has a lot of experience. He set up his own digital agency, which is still going today, and delivers a full-service offering. Tom's strengths lie in understanding the big questions that need to be answered to deliver the most value. He then produces high-end research which leads to strategy, branding, and execution. He has comprehensive knowledge of the Web3 and Crypto space and is an obsessive user of the technology as well as someone working in the space.

Scott through his own work in two separate companies is pushing web 3 boundaries and specializes in strategy and applications of DLT technology. Working in Real estate as an investor and agent he has extensive knowledge of the intersections of DLT technologies and real estate. Scott leverages his extensive network to create or adapt new innovative products and strategies tailored to fit your business segment with monetization in mind.
Research - Internet of Things & Trade Finance
Clayton has 4 years of researching in the blockchain / DLT space, with 10 years working as a commercial & industrial automation electrician as his career. He has a deep understanding of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Blockchain / DLT technology, supply chain and trade finance automation techniques, and creates digitalization strategies for supply chain / trade finance intermediaries. He has a deep passion for new era technology and helping businesses integrate technology empowering the 4th industrial revolution.
Design - Branding
Vilson is a graphic designer based in Greece, with over 8 years of experience in graphic art and design. Over the years he's worked with several clients from small businesses to social media personalities and helped them estalish a strong brand. His work is guided by a strong belief in design as a problem-solving tool, that will help the client build a great relationship with their audience. Some of his disciplines include: Brand identity, Logo Design, Package Design, Social Media Graphics, Photo Editing and Retouching.
Jannik manages the operational business at Alpine and takes care of team management and process improvement in the company. With his extensive skills in social media and community management, he ensures that the company runs smoothly and efficiently.
